"Be a friend to yourself when you need it most". I can surely relate to this statement, Annette. I always say that I am my own best friend because I can control my own thoughts and actions. When I get angry about someone else's behavior, I stop myself and think about the situation and realize I'm NOT Responsible for them, only myself! So, if I'm not the problem, then I can't provide the solution. It always amazes me to listen to what actually comes out of people's mouths. People have to find their own happiness.....it comes from within a person.
I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and all will work out as it is supposed to.......no matter how we may try to change the outcome. Once we realize that we should accept people for who they are and not take things personally......the rest is clear sailing.
Society is made up of many different facets of people. If we were All alike, we would be merely robots. Thank God we are not!
Have a joyful day, Kathleen
