Shine Into Your Life - www.AnnetteColby.com

Stars do not struggle to shine; rivers do not struggle to flow, and you need never struggle to excel in life, because you deserve the best. Hold on to your dream and it shall be well with you.

You are a child of the universe and have all the resources you need within you to create the life of your dreams. You deserve the very best, ever and always. Know this.

“…You are a child of the universe and have all the resources you need within you to create the life of your dreams.”

I so need to be reminded of this!

I am thankful that I have run across folks like you, who somehow always have the right thought at the right time. :)

I hope your Thanksgiving was blessed.

Good morning, Annette
When it comes to prayer, the Serenity Prayer says it all. Having the wisdom to know what we can change and what we cannot change is of the utmost importance in my daily living. So, whenever we are facing a problem, we should always recite this prayer and then decide which course of action or inaction we are going to follow. We all have choices to make. We have to look inward for the answers…..pause, reflect and then venture forth. Our own inner star is always there, but sometimes we have to clear away the gook to find it!

Thanks Kathleen for your beautifully spoken words. Pause, clear away the gook, reflect inwardly, and then venture forth. I couldn’t have said it better myself!!

For those not familiar with the Serentity Prayer – here it is:

Serenity Prayer
by Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971)

God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
