Daffodils! Buds! Flowers!
In February!
Amazing!!!
Almost every day I take a walk either around my neighborhood or in one of the local area parks. And for about the last two weeks I’ve noticed spring was already arriving in Dallas, Texas. Today while walking in 76-degree sunshine I noticed that not only were the daffodils practically near the end of their blooming cycle, the trees were flowering white and pink, and the leaves were beginning to show green. It’s only the middle of February and spring has sprung!
I’m not complaining because spring is absolutely my most favorite time of the year. The strong southerly breezes, the warm temperatures, and life returning to our beautiful planet makes my heart with giddy with joy. But the early spring is a little strange, even for our part of Texas.
What about you? Is spring showing any early signs of appearance? No matter what the temperature (or season) is in your part of the world, I hope you are taking time out of your day to walk outside, feel the sunshine on your face, and play in the February breezes (even if they are not southerly and warm).
Choose to live a life that matters.
