Last week my sister Elke came into to town from Albany, New York to visit, relax, and help me out with some business details. We’ve met our goals and had a fantastic time!
Over the course of the week we went on a shopping extravaganza, took a yoga class, enjoyed full body massages, ate out at some fine restaurants, had a barbeque party with some friends, baked apple pies, worked out at LifeTime Fitness, got her new IPhone up to speed, and visited Ray’s parents Bev and Jan Nowicki in Fort Worth.
In addition, we joined in teamwork and painted my office! With paintbrush in hand I got to thinking about the metaphor for our lives. The result is a series of eight articles written each morning before everyone else got up out of bed. The posts―complete with before, during, and after photos―discuss the ups and downs, the joys and frustrations, along with the anticipation and the actuality of creating change.
If you are in the process of creating change in your life―perhaps losing weight, decreasing stress, overcoming sadness or depression, or choosing to act upon your intuition― you will certainly be able to relate to the insights and experiences in these articles.
Follow along with the entire series, and please feel free to write about your experiences and insights in the Comments section below each post. Your experiences can help us all live a better life!
