Great article, and I will definitely put the methods of awakening my consciousness into practise, however I aware there are only four (4) ways stated and not five(5) as stated in the article.

Conscious awakening to me is like having children. There are the times when they are running through the yard full of joy and laughter and I am quite sure this is one of the best decisions I have ever made and then there are the times when they are tired, hungry, sick and in the middle of a full blown tantrum that I have to remind myself that this part of the journey, while difficult, it still worthy and that I believe in myself and the choices I have made.

Adrienne and Mariano.
Some of the journey of gaining conscious awareness is exhilarting and uplifting. And other parts of the journey are heart-wrenchingly painful. I've notice that making the choices that feel "good and right for me" tend to feel downright scary, unsafe, or unwise to my logical mind. It often seems the easier choice to stay within the tried and true, or to sit still and play victim. However, we already know that we are not victims of awakening, it is something we have chosen. Therefore we take our deep conscious breaths, we take care of our bodies in ways that feel appropriate, and we take our next step forward.

Another great article about how to be more conscious in the world! I especially love the idea of being out in nature and how it helps us really connect with life. Just today I spent some time in the yard planting grass seed with my best friend. It was wonderful to be in the fresh air creating a new winter scene.
